Wake Up America to Run 1st anti-Obama ad in NC & SC

(Raleigh, NC) – The new national counterpart to MoveOn.org, North Carolina-based WakeUpAmerica.com, today announced they have edited their landmark anti-Barak Obama TV commercial to include a critique of the President’s failed trip to Copenhagen, Denmark in an attempt to secure the Olympics for Chicago.

The failed Olympic pitch journey cost taxpayers over $3 million according to CBS News, not to mention the hours spent abroad with more pressing, higher-priority problems developing at home. The ad includes a photograph of a dejected threesome - disgraced former Governor Rod Blagojevich, Chicago Mayor Daley and President Obama.

“The President’s misguided priorities had him wasting the nation’s time and money flying 2 jumbo jets overseas and putting America’s prestige at risk for embarrassment,” said Andrew Brock, a founder of WakeUpAmerica.com.

“Obama succeeded in humiliating our nation when he never should have been wasting time there in the first place with new unemployment numbers reaching 9.8%,” Brock, a state senator from Mocksville, NC, concluded.

Wake Up America plans to expand its TV ad buys in the coming days, including in Spartanburg, SC as well as the debut of broadcast network ads on WXII (NBC) in Winston-Salem, NC this Wednesday.
